When the Padelusa.com adventure began, our goal was pretty clear: offering the best available rackets to the most demanding players. We focused on a restricted number of rackets to make sure we could offer only the crème de la crème to our customers. At the time, padel was still quite niche, and the players you could find in the USA were true padel addicts aiming for the top of the range.
With time, padel has grown in our country, and our community has expanded. As we were growing, we decided to bring more models to the market but always with a high-quality state of mind: only the models that have passed the selection test of our team of experts can make it to Padelusa.com!
The tennis of today: the padel of tomorrow?
Twenty years ago, padel was mainly developed in Spain, and you could find more than 100 padel brands there! It seems crazy, but since it was an emerging sport and the market was not ready yet, a lot of entrepreneurs took their chance at launching their brand, with the dream of becoming famous in mind.
But as you can see in tennis, for example, many companies have made tennis rackets, but only the best brands have been able to thrive in the long term. In padel, the same is already happening, and with the explosion of players worldwide, we expect that just a handful of brands are going to make it to the end of the road.
That's why we are currently only working with the most established brands: the tennis heavyweights that are Head, Wilson, and Babolat; the true specialists that are Bullpadel, Nox, and Siux; the multinational Adidas; and a brand that we have a soft spot for, the high-end hockey specialist that transferred all its experience acquired in hockey to the padel world: Osaka.
A racket for every player
Usually, padel coaches, who are under contract with a brand, tend to say that each brand has a racket for every player. While we are not that extreme, we also think that brands make models for every kind of player.
