Juan Martín Díaz ("El Galleguito"), born in Mar del Plata, Argentina in 1975 and later a Spanish national, was a retired padel legend and half of the sport's most historic pairing. For about 13 seasons he partnered Fernando Belasteguín as world No.1, winning the vast majority of their finals and once taking 22 tournaments straight. A right-handed left-court attacker, he had some of the finest hands the game has seen: inventive shot-making, sharp reflexes and a devastating smash.
