Best for

Intermediate Power

The Babolat Technical Origin+ is for an intermediate player who wants an attacking shape without a hard, demanding feel. Its soft fiberglass face, EVA core and large sweet spot make it comfortable, forgiving and easy to use; the smooth face does not add much extra spin. The trade-off is that it has less power and stability than a stiff carbon racket.

The Babolat Technical Origin+ Padel Racket is designed for players who want to dominate the court with explosive power and pinpoint precision. Built for attacking play, this racket combines advanced materials with a performance-driven design to help you generate powerful smashes, controlled volleys, and confident winners from anywhere on the court.

Its diamond-shaped head and high balance maximize power on offensive shots, while the optimized sweet spot provides solid ball contact and improved consistency. The premium construction delivers excellent stability and responsiveness, giving players the confidence to attack every point with precision.

Whether you're finishing points at the net or driving the ball from the baseline, the Technical Origin+ offers the perfect blend of power, control, and durability for competitive players looking to elevate their game.

Questions about the Babolat Technical Origin +

Straight answers from our padel experts, based on this racket's specifications.

Who is the Babolat Technical Origin + for?

Built for intermediate players with a powerful game. It's easy to play, which helps you build consistency quickly.

Level: IntermediateStyle: PowerHandling: Easy to playFind the racket that fits you

Is it a good racket for beginners?

It's best once you play regularly: it's designed for intermediate players. If you're just starting, an easier racket will help you progress faster.

See rackets for beginners

What does the diamond shape mean for my game?

A diamond shape places the sweet spot high on the face. That adds power to smashes and overheads, but it's less forgiving and harder to control. This one has a high balance, with more weight toward the head: extra power, but it feels heavier to swing.

Shape: DiamondBalance: High

Does it feel soft or firm?

It has a soft core (EVA). The ball sinks in a little more: a comfortable feel and easy power on slower shots, with a bit less punch on very hard hits.

Core feel: SoftCore: EVA

How heavy is it?

It weighs 355 g (±10 g). That's the standard range for adult players: stable without feeling heavy.

Weight: 355 g (±10 g)

Does it help with spin?

It has a smooth face, so spin comes mainly from your technique rather than from surface grip.

Surface: Smooth

What is it made of?

Face: Fiberglass. Frame: Carbon. Core: EVA. Thickness: 38 mm. The full list is under Details above.

When will it arrive?

Most orders are prepared within one business day (Monday to Friday), and delivery is free on orders over $99. Your estimated delivery date is shown next to Add to cart.

Can I return it?

Yes. You can return it within 30 days of delivery if it is unused. Conditions apply.

What does the warranty cover?

Every racket comes with the official manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturing defects are covered when they meet the brand's warranty conditions; damage from regular use, impacts or wear isn't covered.
