Questions about the Wilson Defy V1 Padel Racket
Straight answers from our padel experts, based on this racket's specifications.
Who is the Wilson Defy V1 Padel Racket for?
Built for advanced players with a powerful game.
Is it a good racket for beginners?
Not as a first racket. It's designed for advanced players, and beginners usually progress faster with a round, forgiving racket.
What does the diamond shape mean for my game?
A diamond shape places the sweet spot high on the face. That adds power to smashes and overheads, but it's less forgiving and harder to control. This one has a high balance, with more weight toward the head: extra power, but it feels heavier to swing.
Does it feel soft or firm?
It has a medium core (Power Foam): a balance between the comfort of a soft racket and the crisp response of a firm one.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 365 g. That's the standard range for adult players: stable without feeling heavy.
Does it help with spin?
Its rough face gives the ball extra grip, which helps you add spin to slices and viboras.
What is it made of?
Face: Carbon. Frame: Carbon. Core: Power Foam. Thickness: 38 mm. The full list is under Details above.
When will it arrive?
Most orders are prepared within one business day (Monday to Friday), and delivery is free on orders over $99. Your estimated delivery date is shown next to Add to cart.
Can I return it?
Yes. You can return it within 30 days of delivery if it is unused. Conditions apply.
What does the warranty cover?
Every racket comes with the official manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturing defects are covered when they meet the brand's warranty conditions; damage from regular use, impacts or wear isn't covered.
